About Morocco
The Kingdom of Morocco is located in the NW corner of Africa and is a middle class, moderate Arab and Muslim country.
Morocco was the first country to officially recognize the U.S. over two hundred years ago and since then, the relationship between the two countries has remained uninterrupted.
Morocco was the first African country to sign a free trade agreement with the U.S. and agricultural and food exports from the U.S. to Morocco in 2008 was estimated at $526 million.
Some Tourist Places to Visit in Casablanca
Downtown, Visit Old Casablanca downtown: Prefecture, Place de la League Arab (1 hour)
Hassan II Mosque: (1 hour, entry fee 100 dh)
Casablanca Beach Place – Corniche: (15 minutes, 20 dh by taxi)
Habous – Shopping for Moroccan Handicraft goods (15 minutes by taxi, 15-20 dirhams).
Consider taking the train to the beautiful cities of Rabat, Fes and Meknes. Train Station is at walking distance from Hotel locations.
